Drex, there is definitely excitement in the air for the arrival of your rims. The fact that they are not readily available (custom made) is going to cause some people to say, "We got a hot one tonight, baby!!!" from the dog pound. You're not getting these custom made in the PI now...right?!?!? j/k. Can't wait to see pics bro. Excellent choice based on the sneak preview.

Dude, custom from the P.I.? Only when it comes to barong tagalogs (or designer clothes that are made in the factories there)!...Speaking of, I need to have another barong made. Moths got into my old one.

Man, the manufacturer is taking a LONG time because of their transition period. I'm just hoping it doesn't bring me into April. That'll make it a 4 month wait!...It's already been 2 months since I placed the order and I should've had them on my car already.

Not TWS' fault though. Sander is a good guy and honest business man and for those looking for "good" rims, I highly recommend them. They run their shop like a "Mom & Pop" place, despite their popularity. Fair prices and definitely are keeping me comfortable with the wait.

Drex, c'mon I got you beat by far in age. You haven't even touched the 30ish yet. Also, if the kitty pound were hollering at ya, I'm sure you wouldn't mind some of them (with the exception of the under 18 yr olds).

Hey, you know the flips...it's all about bargaining sometime! Quality goods at a cheap price. Other times, fake goods will work too.

Good things come to those who wait. 4 months is a long time, but I'm sure it will be worth it. It's all about uniqueness and a flavor of drexappeal. Your picture taking (as filipinos would say) will get progressively better too. Great photos and hot rims is ahead for everyone on this forum.

Thanks, pare! Yeah, had to color match it and the body shop did a better job than I expected (a few spots coming up here and there, but not noticeable).

Yup, the bargaining is always a must for us Flip's. My picture taking sucks though! That's one part of me that is so non-pinoy. I like taking pictures, but getting the right lighting, angles, area, etc...horrible!...hahaha...Oh well, just as long as I get the 1 out of 12, that's cool with me.

LOL...bold statement for a newbie. Just playin', cuz I know you are also. Thanx for the compliment. Believe me, I'm more anxious than everybody. If the darn manufacturer would've had a more organized transition, my rims would've been on the car already.

Okay, they're in. Problem is TOYO T1-R's are back ordered. Don't know how long that'll take, so what do you guys think?

Wait for the TOYO T1-R's? OR Go with something else?

If you think I should go with something else, what do you guys recommend? I was thinking of P-Zero's, but I don't like the treadwear rating of 220.

Eagle F1 GS-D3...by far the BEST performance tire ever. I had couple people that used to run Toyo's only after I recommanded them the GS-D3 they told me it's worlds beyond toyo's.

Don't get the P-Zero's, I had them on my w202 and they wore out faster than any tire I've used considering that they were only only on 15inch rims and were on like a 50 or 60 series sidewall...

I'm not that big of a fan of my Toyo's (too loud mainly) and if I was in the market for new tires, I would definitely give the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's a try.

Yeah, Frank. I just might go with what you would've gotten for me. Treadwear rating is good at 280 (i believe) and overall has good ratings.

Falken GR-Beta FK451 and the Goodyear F1-GSD3
