The History of Drexappeal's Ride (9/1/09 Post 1309 - Nitto INVO Tires Installed)
I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Keep us posted.
, reality is there is nothing that can be done and the simple fact is that I have to wait. The rim that TWS was waiting for did not arrive in time, so they're looking at around Monday sometime for delivery.Thing is, because there has to be some "custom" work done on the wheels, they really won't be ready for install until NEXT Saturday, April 1st. I just hope they don't pull a cruel April Fool's Joke on me and tell me they're not ready.
Regardless, I'm probably gonna stop by TWS tomorrow to take some pictures of the wheels that are there, just so that you can all see that I'm not B.S.ing about what I got (also gotta drop off more $$$). I'm sure most of you have figured out what my "special" touch is gonna be, but when I post pictures, I think you'll all be able to figure it out.
Well, I figured it was gonna be a long process. Obviously, I wasn't anticipating it being this long, but what can you do. I waited 3 months for my car, no reason I can't wait 3 months for my rims!...LOL. I'm just glad TWS has been totally honest and up front with me...just the manufacturer's new distributor in the U.S. is not all orgnanized yet.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
2nd pic was a print screen from OZ website.
It'll look much better and much different than these.

saw your wheel today...it's DONE...now go and put it on !!! The color's looking good
but honestly I can't tell the difference between rear lip on 9.5 versus rear lip on 10.I had my camera with me, but I don't want to spoil your fun showing the wheels.

19X8.5 et 32 (235/35R19)
19X10 et 35 (?) (265/30R19)
No rubbing (very slight maybe on very sharp turns - still haven't determined due to break in time for tires). No shaving necessary. Rear was folded from factory in the middle.
I might drop it down a little more, but not sure. Definitely gonna stiffin up the damper.
All-in-all, they came out WAY better than I thought they would.

Thanks though, dawg. These were 2 months over due and been waiting 3 months total.

and take some new pictures
