Nope, Blake. Don't have 'em in my posession. Wish that was the case. Just called this morning to confirm if they were in and they confirmed delivery, but the tires were a different story.

I was thinking about going there to take some pics tomorrow, but it's a bit of a drive for me, so might save that for when they're ready to put them on (especially cuz my tread is really low on my stockers).

Yeah, remember I was tellin' you that I saw your car at TWS? That's when I was dropping off the deposit...LOL. Thanks man. Actually, I just called Sander to let him know I'm gonna go with the Goodyear's (Thanks for the recommendations, fellas ).

Looks like I'm doing the install next Saturday morning, so some of you will see the car in person at the GTG before I post the pics.

LOL...I pm'd you. didn't you get it? I posted it in the Events/Gatherings forum. Darwin and Flip (mig888) are gonna be in town and we're all meeting up at the Dave and Buster's in Arcadia around 730ish. Haven't checked who else plans to come, but I think Frank is coming a couple others on the other forum...just chill and grab some grub/drinks.

You should head out, man!

Anybody need a OEM hood star? $15 + cost of shipping (unless in LA for local pickup) and it's yours.

Drex, what's up! Are you joking that the grill is in the possession of Phil now???? If so, why? It looked sweet on your ride. I knew you were trying to work on a better solution to the tie wraps. I'm assuming you meant your old grill.

Yup. Totally thought Blake was talkin' 'bout the OEM grill...LOL.

Sorry guys, MH-Dezent grille is staying on for a Long time! I'm gonna look through some hardware stores to see if I can come up with a good solution for the top mounts.

hey drex, i have a similar star grille on my car, here are some old pics:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/826735

like you i couldnt find screws that fit the grille, what i ended up doing was using a smaller screw and something that screwed onto the screw from the top, i cant explain it, but basically since the screws didnt fit i used a bolt that screwed onto the screw to tighten it, not sur eif i made any sense whatsoever! but the bolts look like this:

i hope this helps!

14cue, your grill similar to the one purchased from FMM. I have the FMM on mine. Drex's is unique because he doesn't have the verticle bars on each side of the grill. It only has horizontal slats.

Hey, it's the attempt to help that matters. I appreciate your sharing. Yeah, my dilemma is a bit more complicated because I basically have to fabricate 4 brackets that will have to be attached to the grille (probably with some form of epoxy/glue) and then at the same time, match up with the stock brackets on the hood.

The bottom brackets match up (kinda), but I'm gonna by some new U brackets for those and then screw in the OEM screws. It's a pain in the ***, but I'll figure out a good way to attach it. So far, my ghetto attachment is working though!

Dude...too much money?...It's not gonna stop once you get your real J-O-B!...LOL...

Besides, hate to say it, but if you end up getting a L-A-D-Y (aka...ball and chain), you're gonna be spending WAY more money on that!...HAHAHAHA...Just playin', dawg.

Back to subject at hand, it'll definitely be worth the $$ for this mod. Lemme know when you're ready and I'll take care of it for you.

Thanks for the compliments!

I am gonna try getting it to fit better with some clamps this weekend. Hopefully I'll have time to do that.

Okay, so another snag has come into play in the ever long lasting wait to see my new shoes.

I called just to verify my appointment for Saturday to have everything installed, but Sander told me that the company sent them 1 wrong size for the front. So there are 2 19X10's, 1 19X8.5 and 1 19X9.5 at TWS!

Tires are all set to go. Sander seemed to be optimistic that we still might be able to do a Saturday install, but...I'm not.

So for those of you going to the GTG, you might not see my rims on yet. Sorry for the extremely long delay everybody. I'm sure you are anxious to see pics. Shoot, I'm just anxious to get them on and see whether or not I will need to use spacers (hopefully not) and to see what kind of rubbing I'll experience (if any).

Just had to update you all. Hopefully, the next time I post on this thread, it'll be with pics of everything!
