brakez ROCK!

OK, so I'm driving home on a local highway when the turd-burgler two cars in front of me decided to slam on his brakes. I instantly pulled off the gas and punched the brake pedal to the ground out of a pure shocking reaction... and to my surprise I was lunged forward faster than I've experienced in most cars decelerating, let alone accidents. When driving around town the brakes seam average, but as far as emergency brakeing is concerned.. WOW, I am VERY impressed!

I skid for about half of a second before ABS kicked in and I regained control of the car. This is the 2nd close call I've had in my new MB since I bought it in January. I love cars, I just hate other people!

And if I had to write a review with my current experience, not only would that be worth mentioning, but my favorite feature is the steering.

Car is a 05 230SC

Just thought I'd share my new discovery

The BRAKES on these cars do rock! That's because the BRAKES have an active component which allow the BRAKES to BRAKE at the very edge of locking up and the computer that controls the BRAKE senses emergency stops and the BRAKES apply an amazing amount of BRAKING force.

Get some SS lines, fluid, sport BRAKE pads and slotted BRAKE rotors and try it. Jsut make sure you're wearing your seatbelt before you hit the BRAKES. Otherwise you might BREAK your face

The brakes are excellent, the trouble is they are probably better than those on the car of the idiot who might be riding your tail, so chances are that you can stop in time to miss the idiot in front of you but be rear ended by the idiot behind you.

That having been said it is good to know that you can stop in a hurry if needed.

The brakes are good, but they leave a lot of dust on my new wheels. Does anyone have a solution to keeping them clean other than cleaning them every single day. I have 18s so the "Kleen Wheels" offered from Performance Products will not work because their largest size is 15 or 16 inches.

they do leave a lot of dust... I usualy try washing the car every 2 days anyway, unless it's raining or snowing.

I had some mintex pads on my VW that didn't leave a lot of dust.
