Minor dent in rim

Minor dent in rim
I hit a big pot hole which resulted in a minor dent in the front rim. The tire seems fine with no air leaks. No change in steering/vibration/noise.
From most angles, it's very difficult to see the slight dent -- but it's there. Does it make sense to fix this? Or is it safe to drive as is.
I am in the San Jose, CA area.

maybe it wont make sense to fix it but it doesnt hurt to go to a tire shop and let them take a look at it and give their opinion, you never know it could blow out or something. If they say its fine then great but if they say its a bad bend it doesnt cost much to fix sometimes around 40 or 50 dollars

oh man, i once had such problems with a mitsubishi eclipse's aluminum rims...defectively designed, i was part of a class action against mitsubishi...so i know all about these problems...
my advice is get a tire pressure monitor, check before you drive the car each day, and see if the pressure is decreasing
if it is, you can try taking it to a local wheel/tire shop, they can try banging the dent out... if not then you'll need a new rim, of course
