I'm glad we've killed the original subject of this thread with our usual propensity for clownish hijinks.

And all this time I thought you liked doing all that laundry for the clean clothes.

tommy, my auto can shift faster than I ever could manually. I'd also wager an MB auto can shift as fast or faster than any manual shifter on this forum.

tommy, you can have your manual transmission, but please don't dis the rest of us (as different profiles) for chosing technology. I like to drive as fast now as I did 20-years ago. Just ask my local cop...

There's no form of driving more "sporty" than Formula 1, and F1 hasn't used a manual shift for years.

You've got good points. But it would take guys like me and tommy a while to stop yanking at the shifter in an automatic...it's just too much fun.

Well, Bob, good for you. But, until they get an auto that will have the same 0-60 times as the manny version of the same car, and has a pure manny switchover for when you want total control, it's hard to argue the point, at least to me.

Moving pretty fast, talking about kids Timmy. We'll, it's a better pick up line than asking a woman her age. J/K.

We beat him out of that habit. He'll never ask another chick her age, I don't think.

However, ususally guys run scared when babies are mentioned, so it's funny he brought it up.

Cheers,

Beth
