I have just received a letter from my Dealership, which incidentally was on the same day that the car was returned to me after Service A (at the same dealership!!) , stating that they have “determined that the possibility exists for failure of the vehicles electrical system due to a faulty starter battery”.

Has anyone actually experienced this problem?

I’m surprised that I cannot find any posts about this on this forum?

Welcome to the forum. You can't find any posts about the recall because you haven't looked. Searching on "worldwide Recall" yielded these...

Ah, yes, sorry I should have been a little clearer

What I should have said and something that is true in all the posts regarding the recall is that nothing is mentioned of the C Class being recalled...

and therefore I'm surprised that the C200K is one of those that falls into this bracket.

What in that letter would lead him to search for the words "worldwide recall". Was "recall" even mentioned in the letter?
