),but now I'm worried about faded paint "issues" on my C230K(Black).Also do you think it's something that I would be able to wax/polish away?(by hand). Maybe it's a non-issue(paint) and I'm being overly paranoid. Any suggestions would be appreciated.thanks,

yeah, she's garaged every night(not even daily driver).I normally wouldn't think it to be an issue, just worried about the Black paint.I think I might go ahead and do it this weekend.I guess I can always put them back on if the paint is FUBAR. thanks kev
Soo what products should i use to clean after i remove the badges??
The bodyshop told me to buff it with some polish. I guess that makes sense. You may want to include that in your instructions...
Its not as easy as heat up each letter, remove with credit card, and use goof off to remove adhesive.
There is more to it as the outlines of the letters tend to stay even after heavy use of Goof off.
Oh, and to add, I'm sure most of you already know this, this procedure removes the gloss from the paint, so even if you do get all the adhesive/letters off with Goof off, you will still need to re-buff/re-polish in order to get the shiny paint back.
Has any one else with black painted car removed the badges?
