Beverly Hills = Benz Heaven

I visited Beverly Hills over the past weekend. WOW! Benzes everywhere I look. There was always at least one in sight where ever I went. Not just C classes but CLKs, SLs, SLKs, Es, and Ss. What an awesome sight cause where I live, the frequency of a benz is much less.

Paramus NJ has a lot of benzes. Lots of SL500's too. The parking lot at the gym has at least 2 SL500s, 2 Es and a few C Classes at any given time

i see alot in the hamptons too. funny thing though, i party out in the hamptons alot, my cousin has a summer house in east hampton. he's got an 04' Range Rover and SL500 that he keeps garaged out there. but i have to say that the Rover is the most common car i see out there. they're like friggin' cochroaches, literally! saw a few nice whips this weekend though. red 360 Modena spyder, silver Bentley continental GT and gray Aston Martin DB7

Benzes are everywhere in SoCal period!! not just in Beverly Hills.

go down to Newports Beach, 6 out of 10 Benzes are the SL. They love'em down there. go to Asian populated areas, we love S, E, C, and ML.

San Diego is Benzo and Beemer land too !
That's why my wanna-be AMG C32 European Sports Coupé a la Mode needs to stand out !
Ferrari, Lambos, Bentley rule in La Jolla / Del Mar.

yeah, but the Bev Hills, I think has everyone beat !
Everytime I drive through Santa Monica Blvd or Wilshire, you can't blink without seeing at least half-a-dozen Benz !

That's funny that you mention Beverly Hills because on my way home from work I always pass the BH dealership and yesterday, they had a GENERAL LEE in the show room, as well as the standards McLaren SL-R, Maybach, E55.

It's Los Angeles in general, as well. Beverly Hills definitely has a lot of Benzes, but that's also because there's A LOT of money going through that area.

Exactly!...My bad, I forgot to put what actual make and model it is: Dodge Charger.

It was an exact replica.

Cool Cal, period

Hi, thought I'd chime in: California has lots of benzes and they certainly are prevalent in the Bay Area; the E seems to be what I see most of around here.

I bought my E out of state (in Colorado) and drove it back. The entire trip -- 1300 miles including Colo, Wyo, Utah and Nev -- I didn't see another MBZ of ANY model until I was barely back into CA on I-80. And then less than 10 miles into CA a C-class passed me going the other way. The day after I got back, I saw THREE 210 series Es parked on the street by where I work. You literally can't go anywhere without seeing one. Mostly I'm gratified when I see the old ones still on the road; longevity is important.

But outside of CA, my car has lots of cache. Here? Almost none. Luckily I bought it for me and not anyone else.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

It's all about leasing an image...follow these fools that drive their SL500s and you'll see them pulll up to the neighborhood McDonald's. If you can't afford to buy the car, then you shouldn't even be driving it. Come on, this the most plastic place in the world, of course LA is teaming with MBs.

Check out the June 2005 edition of Motor Trend, page 44...."How can so many Angelenos afford to drive such amazing cars and eat."

what about the CL65, can anyone on these boards afford that? i sat in that beast of an autobahn destroying machine today and it is just a powerful feeling to sit in that driver's seat.
