correct offset for 19X9.5 rear rims????
Anyone know what is the correct offset to get 19 X 9.5" rims to fit 100% properly on a 05 SS?
I currently have 19 X 9.5" ET 31 (offset) for the rears with Nitto NT555 265/30/ZR19 and they rub in the back when turning due to body roll. I am looking at getting different tires, going down to a 245/35/ZR19, but also have the option of shaving the back of the rim which will increase the offset (I think I have that right?).
I am just not sure which way to go. I know that there are a few people on here that are extremely knowledgeable on rims and these cars and I have searched the forum, for the past two hours and read lots.
So basically, whats the deal. If you have 19s with no rub on a SS, what size tires, what offset, any rolling?

Try rolling the fender first, shave them only when u desperate. Actually, try Falken tyre first 265/30, Mine rub badly with Yokohama, after switching to Falken, i can fit three people in the back easy. My rear wheels width is 9 with ET24.

Oh yeah, i did shave the back of my wheels (3mm), i kind of regret that, the wheel look more tucked in compare to before. So if i were u, definitely get those Falken FK451, they have stretch sidewall. Leave the bodywork as your last resource.
