1000 mile first service Q

what exactly do they cover in that. I did notice out of the gate the cars alignment needed correction.

it also seems the weather stripping is coming off the doors, or maybe this is how it was made, dunno,

can anyone repost how we can have the alarm beep be audible when we arm/disarm.

thanks

I just had mine done last month. It was basically just a diagnostic check and to address and questions that you may have. As for as the alarm chirping,
here is thread:

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/104058-alarm-settings-beep-flashing-lights.html

Member CTC230K actually recorded a short video clip with the sound of the alarm being enabled/disabled. At first, my dealership didn't know how to do it. You have to specifically tell them it's the Netherland settings. It has to be changed using their laptop. The trade off is that the panic alarm will no longer work.

Just had netherlands set on mine today. The service rep had no idea what the netherlands was and that it could be done on the C-class. He asked me "what's that called again?".

and when i was waiting to pick up my car, i saw the tech driving around the parking lot in the passenger seat while holding my key out the window holding the panic button. after about 3 trips around the lot, i walked over to them and asked if they were looking for my car (gave them my last name) and then told them the panic button does not work and showed them where my car was

why the hell does the panic not work if you get teh beep alarm setting done, wtf.

has any one noticed their weather stripping peeling, mine seems to be, it lifts up, dunno if it was made this way but all around, it lifts up. got that glue on my hands the other day when i was closing a door, holding it from the top , and the stripping lifted up

that had better be taken car of at the 1000 mile, along with the alignment
