Bixenon flap?
Hello,

Inside my bixenons there is someting that you can move with the hand and it's not electricaly actuated.

So you know what it is?

It could be the switch that is used to change the light pattern i guess. where's the pic??

Looks like you are right. EURO BIX have a flap to change the beam pattern so you won't blind traffic when driving in RHD countries. Steve has pointed this out on threads before. STFF

exactly...flaps are to be found in all projector lights EXCEPT for the US spec ones...

here is a picture from how it looks inside the projector

steve, my E46 came with RHD bixenons but no flap. The dealer couldn't figure it out so they replaced the whole headlamp assembly.

That is BMW...the only thing I know about BMWs is that I know nothing about those... I only know a little about MBs...
