wow, where do i start.
if you live in the US I think the lights in the grill are illegal? I like the turn signals, but you put green leds in the reading lamps? How are you going to see anything inside the car at night? why didn't you use xenon white colored leds?
that color looks pretty awesome, is that a Designo model you have?

Yup, I would personally do without the LEDs in the grille. I think it kind of cheapens the look of the car. BUT, maybe it's a trend in the area you live in and other have it as well.

Props for the creativity and effort you put into the project.

You put green LED lights in the reading and dome lights or are they just direct replacement lights? If they were LED replacements, what kind of extra work did you have to do in order to use the bulbs (if any)?

I'm assuming you had to use a Load Equalizer/Stabilizer to convert the headlight blinkers to LED, is that correct? Great job executing your mods.

I personally would've just ordered the 2005 mirror blinkers from Steve (MBenzNL). That's what I did for my car. I also wouldn't have done the green LED's in the grill, but that's really creative and looks like it took some work and effort to do, so I give you a for effort!

Not to put down your work, but there is a guy from Germany that has the best LED replacement job I've seen! There's a thread about it somewhere on this forum, but he replaced ALL the interior mood lighting from orange to blue (including the instrument cluster)!

First of, all the LEDs I had put in are custom made, well, I say custom made, it's actually me sodering the LEDs..

Anyways, putting green lights in the grill is probably illegal but, I hooked them up to the fog lights and they only turn on when the fogs do. I was too lazy to wire a switch to the inside and I didn't want them on al the time.

Well actually, I can see quite well at night even with my green LEDs.

BTW with the inteior I was going for a nice strange look, you prolly don't know this but the effect seeing me in my car at night with the lights on is like in a chinese ghost movie where when the dead ppl come back, they always have green glow on there faces, that's why I did it, I love green.

Actually, I haven't actually seen anyone else do this, but I thought it would be cool, which I think it is BTW. hahahaha, but yeah, to each his own tastes. I just like to seen green in as much as possible eminating from my car.

Well, to start off, al my LEDs where custom made, be me, hahahaha. So pretty much none of them were direct replacment. Pretty much any LEDs you buy on the market are a rip off regarding light output and cost. Secondly you do need to add at least a resistor in the dome lights if you plan to go LED, because there is constantly a current going through them for some reason, and if you don't the LEDs will be always on dimmly even when the car is off and all the doors are closed. This resistor is put in parralell.

Well, yes, I have to put in load equalizers in the the front turn signals and running lights. But what arte they anyways --> they are just resistors like anything else. Just walked into the office, picked up some, spliced them into the circuit in parralel. then presto. All you need is grade 12 physics to figure that one out. BTW I had to put those in the Mirror housings too.

Well , I don't really like the look of the 05 light housing. And also, I think that I would have to get all the 05 upgrades in order to get a uniform look. Plus, why pay like bucks, when everything I've done is free. HAHAHAHAHA

I'm pretty sure if I put in white LEDs in the grill it would be much better accepted, but that's not what I'm looking for, I really like green, and ppl don't like it, so be it. Anyways, this is not all, in the next few weeks, I'll have green cutom puddle lights, work that set off some hatin' hahahahahahaha.

Oh I forgot, I saw the LEDs in the dash too. I was gonna swap them out too, but I got lazy. hahahaha. I was gonna do him one step better, you know on the auto how there is a light beside the shift knob that tells you what gear you are in like the P R N D, I was gonna make little red light green too, just waiting for lower wattage LEDs to arrive.

Nah. ANY lights in the grille is RICE. I take that back, if someone made a grille star that glowed, that would be cool

As far as your obsession with green, you remind me of that eBay commercial where that guy put his lime green Honda on Ebay and his grilfriend says "Who's gonna buy a line green car?". In the next scene you see a guy and everything he owns is green and he bids on the car
