need help with rims

i have a c240 and wanted to get some rims. the real brabus are so damm expencive. and as a student i cant afford that ... i was wondering if the replica ones were ok to put on my car. i just wanted to know what are the bad things about putting on a replica brabus. and i wanted to know the price range where i should buy 4 replica brabus VI with tires.

replicas can be fine to put on. The only thing that keeps guys from doing it is either 1. the quality of the wheel and it being produced in China etc...or the sheer fact that its the 'cheap' way to get your car looking good for less. Now for a set of replica brabus wheels the price will be different of course and weather it comes with or without tires BUT expect to pay for all 4 wheels for the price of 1 real brabus wheel. Just about and or over $1k new

They will say 'replica wheels'. If its a private sale have them take a pic of the inside of the wheels where they are stamped. The real Brabus wheels have a specific stamp on the inside. I dont know it but another member will fill in the blank for me on that one. Oh and did I mention the price difference?!

C240 will be fine with replica.
I believe for a 19" replica you could get the whole set around 1k or less, include tires probably gonna run you about 1.75k to 2k depending on what kind of tires you're getting. Go check on Ebay

There is a sticky at the top with links to all kinds of good info. It pays to read it. :v

Do you ever get tired of repeating yourself? Don't you see the irony here? It's as tiresome to read your remarks about searching as it is to read questions that *might* be answered and rendered unnecessary by searching. And if you know where something is located, why not provide a link? Why make people struggle, especially if they've tried and can't find something? You seem to have a lot of knowledge and I think the community would be better served by it, rather than your hall-monitoring. I'm not trying to provoke you are start a fight...

The sticky at the top says nothing about rims. Is he supposed to go into all of them just to spare the few search sticklers some aggravation? There's a link to replacing brakes on a 2002 coupe...you know, sometimes things change in 3+ years...

I searched the forum for "Brabus replica C240" and you know how many threads came up that are from 2003 or sooner? 0.

Relax dude. I realize as a moderator you put up with it across many more forums, but please spare us from much the same thing. If you are so concerned about maintaining a clean database/archive of discussions, isn't it easier to mine, clean, combine or delete past discussions than to try futily to change human behavior?

Cheers.

You know the good old saying Teach someone how to fish and he will never go hungry...................

Please read his thread right in front of mine. What better way to go through this sticky to learn. The thread/sticky was set after some hard work by drexappeal to combine a single place where a lot of info can be stored in one centralized location for ease of use. It is not final. Consider it a work in progress.

Now, you had been searching for wheels and info. I'll be happy to add a link in that thread in case you want to compile the necessary info ala drexappeal.

NP. No harm.

krew944, Basically you need either a lowering spring or coilover, depend on your budget.
Here's the link to the Mods
And here's the link to thesuspension you're looking for.
