Wow so many pages. LOL! Anyways why do I only get sound and no picture? What format is this? What did you use to view the video?
By the way for the person who said that an auto cant shift fast you need to get a ride in my C43. That thing can shift faster than any human thus probably why it blew up the tranny. Then again I heard they have a very aggressive tranny chip so a lot of the 99 C43 all blow up their tranny. We (my friends and I) all have street raced, track raced, etc. and we all agree that the C43 shifts faster than any car we know.

Just a interesting fact I noticed was when I get my loaner C240's which is rare cuz I usually get E320's is that the C240's are very fast. I test drove an auto at the dealer and it was very slow but the loaners are a lot faster. I believe its just how they were broken in or broken. LOL. Anyways I was amazed at how well the loaners accelerated. I figured everyone abuses them but they sure were fun to drive. I dunno, I dont like autos too much so thats why I drive a 6 speed C240. When I was stock I raced by buddys auto, I just pulled away.

The Enzo shifts in like .3 or .7 seconds I forget which it was. I think that is the fastest shifting street car...

240 Loaner cars.....
Back in feb. I got a '05 C240 loaner car from San Diego M-benz... Unfortunatly i wrecked it, so they then gave me an '04 C240 as a replacement.
I noticed that the '04 was a substantially faster than the '05. Logic tells me otherwise, as the '05 is a new car, had the same options, and only had 1,800 miles on it compared to 29,000 miles.
Would that be because one is broken in, beaten on more? If so..... do these cars have that much of varience?
I know kinda off topic, but still relates in some ways.

ive had many c240 loaners and they were all slow. it seems that benzes do get faster when theyre broken in better. that 2005 probably guzzled more gas than the older one too. maybe the slower one was a 4 matic?

the c240 should be compared to a 6 speed c230 not an auto c230, and the driver has to have atleast SOME talent to be able to drive it and not look like a fool loosing to a c240 off the line. that video of the 230 losing to the 240 at the slow speed they were going in the 3rd or 4th race shows the 230 driver was probably on some kind of narcotics.
