Where can it rubs?

I have 4 people including myself in my car today for the first time...and everytime I make a 90 deg. turn, I could hear my front wheels rub on the same side I turn my car and my rear on the opposite site. On a straight run, it didn't rub at all even going over a dip or a bump. I looked at all 4 wheels and can't locate the spot/place where it rub. Can anybody tell me where can it possibly rub? I'm running 19x8.5 et 31 with 235/35 and 19x9.5 et 35 with 265/30. With the height that I have, I shouldn't be rubbing no?

I'm betting

it's coming from the front only and reverberating in the car; in any event you won't be able to see it by looking at the wheels and tires. You need to find the stationary spot on the body/chassis where it's rubbing.

Best thing to do is pull the wheels one at a time and inspect the wheel wells, that covering in there scratches pretty easily and you'll be better able to find where it's rubbing (it'll either be messed up or rubbed clean). If you still can't find it, put some white shoe polish around the inside corner of the tire (clear around the corner) and then load up your friends and drive right away as you did before, when it rubs the shoe polish will rub off onto the wheel well and you'll see the contact point. From there you've either got some custom modding to do or spacers to buy.

Good luck and enjoy the ride (it looks great, by the way),
Greg

It could be also the sound that your tire makes when it not only moves from left to right, but also moves slightly in toward the car. Wearing on the side of the tire. If you do not know what I mean, fully turn the wheel to the left or right, until you can't turn it anymore. Get out and you'll notice that the tire is angled differently in toward the car, then compared to the way it is usually when driving front and back.

Balance the fat people seating arrangements and your problems will be solved.
Another solution would be to turn your radio up and drown out the sound of the tires/suspension.
Not sure which is the best solution.

You should be rubbing on the inside of the wheel well. There are vents that seem to rub a lot. You should hear it more in reverse.
