Unhappy C240 alignment problem

My '02 C240 has alignment problem from day 1. Have dealer do the alignment twice and it still pulls a little bit to the right. Anyone have the same problem? I am frustrated that I need to bring my car in again. Can this considered a Lemon?

Does your dealer have the proper alignment machine. I was told that the small five holes between the bolt holes in all original factory MB wheels are used for alignment purposes. I believe Brabus wheels have these holes for this purpose as well.

ohhh so thats what the 5 small holes are for... (the brabus wheels do have them) iono if its an alignment problem but my car tends to lean a little to the right but i think it might just be the roads. most roads (well atleat over here) lean a little to the right on each side of the street.

So many C-class cars have this problem (including mine). It's been discussed a lot in this board...I don't think it could be considered as a lemon. Get the dealear fix it within the first year! because alignment is not covered after that...

I had the same problem and I finally got it fixed the 4th time. I took it to the dealer 3 times and it still did the same thing. FInally I wrote to MBUSA customer service giving them written notification of the problem. Once you do that, they will contact you and try to fix it 1 more time. THis was the time they fixed it correctly for me. THey have a rep from MBUSA that goes from dealer to dealer taking care of issues like this.

If it's not fixed after the 2nd time, check you lemon laws..most states require 3 attempts to fix the same problem. Once you have done this, you have to give MB written notification of the problem and they will call you. look in your service manual under the lemon section, write to that address....

that's the only way I could get my car fixed properly...good luck..and dont' take that's the way it is for an answer.

i was woundering why my car kept going a little to the right. my friend said its probably to road... ok so what can i do now, i lowered my car already and put rims, but this problem occured before i did all that, does that mean i have to put my stock springs back on and then go to dealer ship to get it fixed or is there any other way around it.. ??

to test for sure if the pulling problem is from the road, drive it on the left most lane.. my car pulled to the right first and then went left...it was pretty slight movement to the right but it was still there... you may get away with not having to put your stock springs and stuff back on.. see what the dealer says about it.... just call on the phone and explain the situation... without giving names.. they may help..you neve rknow....

take your car to MB of San Francisco
their techs are professional, they actually test drive the car to confirm the problem first. so they know what they are doing. but they don't provide loner and free car wash. anyway alignment just take a half day to finish.

i had my car serviced twice for alignment problem and finally took it to MB of SF and they fixed it perfectly!
