Can't we all just get along?
The tone of this board has taken a decisive turn for the worse in the past week or so. I am guilty of having engaged in this action, but I'm also the one calling for an end to it. With moderators (well, one moderator) entering the fray and adding to the mania, things are getting out of hand.
Factual arguments have broken down. Videos, while valient attempts at proof, are not adequate. Mathematical proofs, while objective, are not tangible...Let's just agree to disgree. We're giving some real mental midgets an opportunity to hijack this board, and they're taking it.
For the sake of the sancitity of this board, I'm finished arguing about these topics. Let's try not to attack each other so rabidly, instead trying to spread fact and supported hypotheses...if we must disagree, let's argue against each other's argument without descending to the point of degrading each other or each other's argument style. When a lack of intelligence or logic is on display, walk away or ignore it, let's not bring this board down any further.
We've got enough people hating us for the cars we drive, let's not hate each other.
