Nice Timmy! I think the clear lenses looks best on silver colored cars (makes the lenses blend in better)

Dts - The blue dot is the reflection of the blue bulb he has in there.
By the way timmy is that the go ped from sharper image?
Blackc230coupe: Yes its from sharper image, its my lil bro's.
Yeah i like the C7 wheels but, I may have a way to get some bigger ones. We will just have to wait and see, but the pulley comes first
What brand are they?
Timmy:
You mentioned you bought some colored plate lights that actually fit, meaning they're the same size as the stock bulbs right?
What brand are they?
Tim
also what u guys think i have a c240 2002 metallic black think i should go with the blue or super white........i cant make up my mind
also does that guy on ebay sell the bulbs with it?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1837822907 Ask him if he has any more of those. Also the bulbs are just the simple wedge type bulbs. I went to autozone and they had them in blue, amber, and regular halogen. I couldnt find purple. Just take your original bulb with you and the people at tthe auto store will be happy to help you. You will have to doctor the part a little to make it fit. its no biggy though. I used some "foam tape" and a little bit of silicone to seal the top of the lense. I used silicone bescause it will not hurt the paint and can easily be taken off. email me at z28boy@carolina.rr.com if you have anymore ?
(used normally in ricers). The ricer bulbs are slightly shorter
Or is there some kind of Benz exemption that I don't know of?
So, if they're used by ricers, and you've got them, doesn't that make you a ricer?

Looks really good, Timmy!
I just don't think our orion-blues need that kind of treatment; we'll stick with smurf-sock shifter boots

I'm really tempted to get one of those, Tommy. But I'm sure CST won't give me the price you got if I don't go for the whole enchilada. Plus the little cutouts would make me furious...I think you should have them redo it. How can they justify ruining an otherwise absolutely perfect job all around? Sorry, man, don't mean to rub it in...guess you learn to live with it. Nevermind me, I'm just yet another jacka$$ w/ a keyboard.

Anyways, everyone these days has clear bumper lenses, so it should be taken out of the ricer list!
(doesnt VW have stocked clears?)
Test fit the housing to the bumper after each strip addition. Layer more strips on top of the previous ones with more superglue until you have a fit to your liking. It should take no more than 3-4 thicknesses of stripping to do the job. Make sure the superglue is well-set before test fitting. (Let the glue set a few minutes after each application.)
This method makes a more permanent modification... tape can come loose with heat and water, etc.
That's what I did and it fits snug and perfect. It's better than using glues and tapes. It's more natural and professional-looking IMO.
