EAST BAY, CA PULLEY & FSS B SHOP

Hi there,

just wondering if any of you would recommend a place for an Evosport Pulley install as well as performing a Service B on my vehicle.

also, has anyone changed their timing belt/chain and water pump yet at 60+K miles?

thanks in advance

What schedule does MB recommend the timing belt/chain be replaced? I thought you didn't replace chains like you do belts.

So, no one here knows the recommended MB replacement interval of the timing chain/belt, nor whether chains even need replacing?

Is there something for the M111? I was told that there isn't anything available yet.

I'm not sure, but I didn't even know that Evosport has the pulley kit available for the M271, yet. That's what I was trying to figure out because why K9ff need to find an installation place, unless it is available already?

Brad, if you're on here today, could you clarify please?

Thanks.

Evosport told me about 3 months until kits for both the M111 and the M271 are available, but I could swear that I have seen people talk about pulley kits for my M111 engine in the past. I guess that it was not an Evosport kit that I have seen. Kinda curious what this guy has as well. He might have a 240 or a 320, as I think there are kits available for those now.

John, I think you're right. He doesn't have his model listed, so I think I jumped to conclusions that it was a 230. Oh well, guess all the 230s still have to wait. I'm pretty sure I saw the same thing you saw on the Evosport website (pulley kits available for 240/320).

Well, I guess that solves that.

Yes !!
pulley kits for the C240 / C320 (M112) have been around for quite a while now from Evosport and others....

M111 and M271 whole different story.
