Well, I can tell you the deal I JUST finished today (in fact, I'm waiting for my credit approval as I write this ) ..basically, on a 39 month lease, with $3000 down (but this down is TOTAL down, ie. driveoff fee), and $1500 for my trade-in, I got a C230X (6-speed manual), base model, no heated seats, no sunroof or anything else, just standard equipment for $500/month. Now I know the MSRP for this is $37950, and I know the sports sedan is $43K or so.....so taking the basic rule of thumb of $20 per $1000, that would mean an extra $100 on my monthly payment...so about $600 or so..

I'm also not sure if when you say zero down, you are considering the drive-off fee, ie. Freight / PDI, Security, 1st month, etc, etc.... or no ?

Maybe. I know mine was the LAST 6-speed left in all of canada. In fact, I'm waiting for it to arrive at my dealer from Halifax. So I'm sure you have room to haggle. But if you go to mercedes-benz.ca and go through the steps to configure a C230 SS and then do the payment calculator with 0 down, you'll see it says 39 months lease, 24k/year kilometers allowance, you get $686.76 + tax = $ 789.77..that does not include Freigh / PDI, Admin Fee, A/C tax, Fuel Tax, 1st month payment, and security deposit. So even with 0 down you will still have to pay about $3000 at signing. So if they waived all that and they want $690 a month, that's a GOOOOOD deal

Go to MBCanada.com and ask Alex about deals. He's very knowledgable on what to expect from the Canadian market.

Take the 39 month lease. Only the 39 month lease has a discounted rate.
