C230x ???
Hi Guys,
I'm a 1st time MB owner, so excuse my lack of knowledge, but I recently leased a 2005 MB C230X 4 door sedan, 6-speed manual. My question is, what are the differences (if any) between the C230X and C230K OR is there even a C230X because I can't find any info on it anywhere ??
One thing to keep in mind is I haven't actually gotten the car yet, waiting for it to be delivered to my dealer from Halifax because apparently it's the only 6-speed manual left in all of Canada, so I'm wondering if the sales rep made a mistake, or maybe there is a mistake in their computer system because she showed it to me on the computer and it DID say C230X ..

Actually, I asked the SR today. She said that's an "internal code" that they use to distinguish between different cars. How do I find out if it's W203WZ ??
Also, I verified with the SR that it's a Black on Black..but she said that from the gearbox all the way up to the screen/command area is all wood trimming...is that normal ?? because on the MB site, when I check out the interior pics of the black on black, i don't see any wood trimming.
If it really does have a wood trim, I think I'm going to want to remove it, cause I'm not sure that would look good, although i haven't even seen it yet :P

1) You're in Canada; different built than US.

Ya I checked the site, but the interior pics on the site look all black. I don't see any wood trimming, UNLESS the wood trim is a charcoal color (which would be awesome) vs a regular wood color. Can you post some interior pics of yours by any chance ?
