Ipod news!!!
I saw this in a german forum, but the tranlation is not to good:
here times again few information for iPod the interface a kit which is from now on offered
As already in some other Beitaegen described, we the interface behind the glove subject blocked and the cable by doubling hitting a corner he/clutch to the Radio/Navi is attached, the control runs over the CAN data bus and the clay/tone over the AUX Buchse/Anschluss. Thus I cannot the equipment over steering wheel serve and the titles also in the Tachodisplay see, an announcement or a control over the Radio/APS50/COMAND am possible however!!
It is available and/or expandable in:
C-class (W/S/CL203) starting from 04/2004, CLK class (A/C209) starting from 07/2004, A-class (W/C169) and UC-lets (W245) in connection with Audio20 CD (code 523), audio 50 APS (code 525) and COMAND APS (code 527)
The kit for it is B6 782 42 13 price 157, - euro plus VAT.
A-class and UC-lets 782 42 14 with audio 5 = kits B6
M-class (W164) with Audio20 CD/audio 50 APS and COMAND/APS = kit B6 782 42 16
With the e-class (W/S211) and CLS (C219) it goes only with COMAND/APS!!!!! = kit B6 782 42 02
And also with the SLK (R171) it goes also only with COMAND/APS!! = kit B6 782 42 09
Since the Audio20CD and Audio50 APS have in E/CLS/SLK unfortunately no AUX, it is not therefore possible with the devices
All data like the Lotto numbers, WITHOUT GUARANTEE
