I had a sony EQ 4000x dsp/equalizer... that moved the 'center sweet spot' to the driver's position - or any other in the car.
During installation, you measure distance in cm from each speaker to driver's head position. The EQ/DSP then time shifts each seperate driver to deliver optimum sound.
Truly amazing!
I'll be doing the same in the coupe - at least I want to!
