You purposely did this to make us feel inferior, didn't you sunman!...LOL

As always, you're the man.

Hey, you don't by any chance know the part numbers for the carbon fiber looking OEM pillars, do you? A few of us have been trying to find the part numbers for a while, so maybe you can shed some light.

It took several months to finish as there are no direct replacement parts for the 203. Some parts had to be modified to fit or work. It involved replacement/addition of the following parts:

1. Both front door handles
2. Door handle bearings
3. Door Harnesses added
4. Door Keyless Go control Modules added
5. Door Antennas added
6. Center Console Control Unit/Antenna added
7. Rear Trunk Control unit
8. Rear Trunk button to lock doors
9. Electronic Ignition System replaced
10. Gear Shifter Knob replaced
11. Gear Shifter Assembly Replaced
12. Rear Bumper Antenna
13. Inner Trunk Antenna
14. Main KG Harness

THe Instrument cluster and EIS have been programmed for KG already. I still need to aquire keys for my car. The system itself is active though. All functions work when tested in DAS. The doors themselves are suppose to have door popper assist motors installed which I did not do. I may do this later on.

You mean the C32 checker pattern printed panels .... honestly I wouldnt even consider them fibre looking. Really poor effort on that trim.

Yup. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I think they are better than the black plastic that is on all the cars now. You can see all the scratches and swirls the older it gets. You're right though, they're not really carbon fiber looking, just an easy way to explain them.

If you are talking about plain plastic panels then replace them with painted OEM panels in enamel.

If you have painted panels now and they are getting damaged over time then the C32 ones are even worse. The look is just a printed pattern.

Just take off your current ones and get a black+your car paint job. I have seen deep dark blue on a blue car and it was pretty cool.

You can tint black to have a slight amount colour and that can be the perfect match for your car.

BMW have an Engine start button on the new 3 series as do Alfa Romeo on the forthcoming 159 range. Although as Sunman stated these are totally inferior to Keyless Go system as you still have to slot in a Key / Fob into the dash and then hit the start button.

Keyless Go is ace a friend of mine had it on his W209, I would love that on my W203 but wouldn't be able to justify spending anything like 2k on it (although I'd love to be able to do it!).
