Wheel question

I want to get 18" Carlsson 1/6 Evo Diamond Edition wheels for my C230K. One question that I have is do I have to do any suspension mods in order to put these wheels on or can I just put them on with stock suspension (height wise).

Thank you!

Should just be to bolt on and be happy! No fender rolling or suspention mods necessary.

When I was looking at Brabus 18" rims, the shop did say that it is possible that my fenders might need to be rolled, so don't totally rule it out! Just make sure to get the best offset for the size (no, I don't know what offset works best).

The suspension "problem" you'll have is that you'll now have great rims (I'm totally jealous - that's the set that I want - weight be damned), and you'll start to want to do other mods to complement the new rims. That's when you'll know that you have a problem!

Sorry if I've contributed with some incorrect info :o ! I called my local wheel dealer and asked the same "will it rub"-question, and he told me no mods were needed for 18":ers. However my car is a sedan and therefore my previous statement might be wrong (or my dealer might be all wrong).

Damn, I can't even spell to suspension :o

i have the 19's in chrome of the 1/6 evos lowered with h&r sport springs and i didn't have to roll anything and there is no rubbing. just make sure whoever you have do it uses proper spaces, correct tire size and the right size lugs and you will be fine. the guy who did mine had to file down the lugs to fit perfect.

To answer your question no fender rolling or suspension mods are needed.

I am getting the same wheels installed on my Silver C230k this month, staggered setup (18x8 front 18x8.5 rear) on Pirelli P7000 Supersport tires. I called up a service rep at www.tirerack.com and told him the dimesions of my car and he said no prob!!!

When you get installed post pics and we'll compare to see which looks better!!!!!

DTS, that's the picture that pushed me toward those wheels. I have a black car and those look awesome on it in this picture.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
