actually, every Steve install party, kinda becomes an impromptu mini-meet of in itself.
but, i'm always game for a cool GTG.
also, know that Steve & Wanda schedule the appts over a few days period with anywhere from 20 min to 3 hours intervals depending on the complexity of the install and number of people waiting. So some people might be waiting more than 6 hours to meet somewhere afterwards.
just from my 12 or 13 experiences having stuff installed by Steve.

I vouch for Steve as well 100% 
btw, Steve, i'm in the process of buying someone's used Euro Comand. He says I will need to buy 5 connector pins that are missing. Do you know what is he talking about? part numbers? He says he has the antenna and the rest of the connectors.

Just a reminder for those who have been thinking about getting some modifications done in the LA area, the SF area, seattle or vancouver and haven't confirmed yet:
I will be in the US during week 3 and 4 of august and will have to ship (and occasionally even order) all the requested parts upfront...I am currently still in singapore and will only have a very short week at home to get the US trip prepared.
So for those who do want to get something installed and haven't confirmed yet - this is the time to do so; thanks.
