Midnight Blue 2004.5 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan. 2002 w210 E320, 2009 w211 E350 Sport
Brad, I definitely don't have that problem and in fact LOVE to hear about how the progress is going, not expecting things to go "as scheduled". So if you have some info, I'd definitely like to hear about it. PM me or email please because I've always been interested in hearing the ups and downs of developing a "performance" mod. It's part of the reason I took on the R&D for the TEIN springs (even though I thought it was for the SS and SS-P coilovers). I knew it would be a long process, so I just anticipated that I wouldn't really be able to time when I would need to bring my car in.
Wish you guys were open on the weekend, cuz then I'd roll down to O.C. to check out the shop and see the projects you have goin' on. What's funny is that a lot of people will "hate" on the fact that you share information, but when it comes down to it and the product is finished, a lot of those same people won't even buy it / install it. So my opinion is, take your time with it, get it right and reliable. You guys do that, you've already got 1 customer that will be ready to purchase when the time comes (assuming I have the $ flow to do it).
To Everybody:
This is just a commonality in business (generally speaking). Most of the time, there will be snags (aside from reg. everyday occurences). When a product/item is in "development", a business has to anticipate snags, therefore even though a company can make approximate projections, there's really no way you can anticipate a "flawless" development. They can make deadlines for themselves, however, if other projects are going on at the same time, which would we rather have? 1) A product that was rushed through R&D that ends up having reliability issues or 2) A product that was carefully run through the rigors of different tests, shown "proven" reliability, and will be longer lasting (based on the detail and attention put into that product)? I would honestly prefer #2 over #1.

all you guys *****ing & complaining should drive down / over to EVOSPORT and see their shop in action. The times I have been there, it is ALWAYS bustling with activity.
you want a crappy product tomorrow, then go with joe-blow down the street and have them machine a pulley for ya from aluminum cans. Then you'll all be happy: fast & cheap !!
if you want quality, unfortunately, you have to wait. Material, R&D, production & testing all take time. If it was easy, don't you think Pep-Boys would sell a C230 pulley kit ???
i have no vested in interest in the C230 pulley, i don't even own a C230, but just listening to everyone crying about how long it takes to get a pulley for this particular model, makes me wonder, if indeed big Mercedes-Benz Marketing has finally gotten what they want.

You said they never promised to have a dyno. I think we could all agree on that statement.

seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors...
One of the evosport guys posted that 2 people were going to do a dyno and get it posted over a week ago... just rechecked the message that this professional had written, and he edited it out; no explanation...
Now you can't even get an honest answer out of any of these guys, and I think they run this forum!

We are working on a damper, it is back at machine shop having some additional mods done to it. We also have another version being made for testing. In other words we are doing R&D.
To do it right it takes time and it does not happen in one week. This has already been posted and explained. Here it is again.
