crashed my car late wednesday night..
was headed up to san jose for the san jose grand prix.. finally got there and was gettin off the camden exit off the 85 north and as i was getting off this bike came by and i turned to the left to look at it... and when i turned around i was at this sharp right turn so i just slammed on my brakes but i ended up going through some dirt through a chain link fence and then taking out a light signal... here are the pics...
and the crash site... the fence is messed up cuz of me..and thats a new light they put in... the original one was bolted into the cement and not held up with sand bags..
any donations can be sent to benmek@gmail.com via paypal

Ben,
Very very sorry to hear about your accident! It was a awesome car! It will be missed...
Hope your fine and it seems you walked away fine, thank goodness for that at least.
*sigh*
I just crashed my car too last weekend and its still sitting in my driveway; very depressing... but hang in there! I'm sure your next car will be equal or greater of your awesome 240.
Take care.

Man, really sorry to hear that. Have you talked to your insurance yet? Do think that they will total it? Thats the worst feeling in the world.
Just as a general question to everyone....does insurance payout if you destroyed something aftermarket or only for the stock vehicle?
BTW can I have your wheels?.....j/k.....guess you'll just have to get a c55.
Good luck.

I would say that this bad boy will be declared a 'total"...but thats just my opinion.
I hope for your sake that this is the case, cos with damage like that, you know your car aint gonna be the same if repaired!
SOOOO....if thats what the Insurance Co does say....whats your new ride gon be???

If his car was worth $20K before the collision, he'd need at LEAST $10K in damages and associated costs for most Ins. co.'s to "total" it. Some wouldn't consider it totaled until the bill reached $15K!
Maybe he'll get lucky
If the car wasn't paid off and he was still "upside-down" in it, I hope he had gap ins.

Dude Sorry to hear about your accident, but like everybody else already said, you should be happy you didn't get hurt. By the way, my brother had a similar accident on his E46, and the car wasn't totaled. The repairs cost were like 11k.

Regardless, sucks you crashed, I know how it is, but you suck at driving. Pay attention next time. Glad you're fine though.

too bad man! I'm glad you're ok. It looks like a total.. I hope the insurance works out so you can land a new one or at least a very clear pre-owned.

That hurts! Good to know you were not hurt. I'm looking through the first few pics thinking "ouch", and then saw the front-end shots and was like "OUCH"! That should be a total (if not you need to have a nice discussion with your agent). Its the only feasable way to get best value for all your efforts. I wish you the best of luck with your next project... bigger and better, right .
