I read a rumour somewhere on this site that THERMOTRONIC was being dropped from the base version of the W203 for 2003 in North America, at least in the Coupé ("hatchback" for sourpuss
). The rumour was based upon some sort of leaked equipment list that someone scanned and posted here a few weeks ago. It indicated that THERMOTRONIC was going to be optional, as was the self-dimming mirrors. Maybe do a search on this site.

Actually its not based on the '02, but previous years. The '02 should not be significantly different..if anything though its probably worse as theres no longer any significant wait lists in major markets.

I bought an '02 C240 from Bill Ussery MB in Coral Gables last week. They said they'll be getting '03s in the first or second week of August; I'm planning on getting a C320 then unless they're willing to cut a really sweet deal on a '02. They have a fair amount of C classes in stock.
