Interesting

If it is true, that is a good feature. I'd choose "economy" of course. No, I'm not Scottish.

Since I'm a throwback to the "trust but verify" Reagan era, I can't help asking:

Is there a way for the owner to confirm the change after the dealer-tech has reset the fuel setting?

When I had the setting changed I was standing there you could hear an audible change in the exhaust note. You will also see a change in mpg on the car. Mine dropped 4-5 mpg, but I still get 26-28 on the highway. I understand that you get more fuel at full throttle keeping that in mind, I have run some high speed trips dowa "9a" (basicly a three mile straight away) Will only do 130 max 125 in 5th (13.2 mpg), Momentuim will carry you higher than 130 but computer will bring you back. Hopeing to get my chip soon!!
