NEED HELP ON HOW TO INSTALL 20" RIMS
#26
Not that many people here run 20's on their W203's, even if you are successful, I'm sure you have to roll your fenders or get the right tires. You should have researched before you bought 20 inch wheels. you can learn a lot by researching before buying, the forums is a great place to start. Also, you can't compare the bimmer with a benz if you really want to make them fit, you car put on 15 inch spacers so that they are outside your wheel wells

it cant be done. especaillly on that tire size. u can roll your fender all you want and stiffen ur suspension all you want it will not work.
plain in simple show me someone who made it work, i know some people claim that they have made it work but it is impossible without rubbing. the reason being the front is too big and rubs when it turns.
take it from someone who has tried
btw: ur screwed return the rims take the loss

Bloodyhands, how the bloody hell are you? I don't know if this will help, but I suggest you put 225/30/20 on the front wheels, the 255/35/20 should be fine in the rear, if it rubs, get 235/35/20 all around. You will defintely have to roll the fenders and for peace sakes, tell us the offset of the damn wheels. Look behind the wheels, it should say et35 or et37....ect. The off set of the wheels will help us to help you. Remember, nothing is impossible, if you want the help, you will have to be a little more elaborate when asking and answering questions....

I HAVE 20's
I just got 20"s installed today, I had 18"s but wasnt happy with them, only cuz my previous '03 Lexus ES300 also had 20"s. You can fit them by putting 225/30/20 in the front and 225/35/20 in the rear. The front will rub a little when turning the wheel all the way but it doesnt touch the fender, just the wheel well cover. Now all i need to do is drop the front 2 inches, because i dont like the gap. But the rear looks perfect.

picture's not working.
running 20" on the C is doable with a lot of work in the fender, but it is also more stupid than us people running 19" for looks. It doesn't matter what tire you run, 20" is going to be way oversize. The 235/35/19 is already oversized. The only reason people chose this size is because for front wheels 19's are usually 19x8.5 which if you run 225/35/19 (the closest diameter to stock 17) you will leave the rims unprotected.
M3s can run 20" inch because they have a much larger clearance inside the fender with those semi widebody stock look. Also stock vs stock M3 is already using 235 tires for 18" which yields a larger diameter than our car on 18 which we only run 225.
I'm sure you dont' want your car to look like this

On another note, does anyone else feel that Hummer H2's and H3's that have 20+" rims installed are a bit self-defeating?
Just because some lame rap/rock stars "pimps" their rides with bling bling 20's, it doesn't make it okay for everyone else to look stupid with them and follow suit!
Oh well, to each his own.
