1. its not comapatible if you have xenon

If you just want to upgrade your halogen to halogen projectors this is not a bad alternative.

I have never really seen a set of factory projectors up close so my only frame of reference was my stock lights. Quality seems pretty good although not exactly the same (duh right). Its just that things don't CLICK together like on my stock assemblies. Other than that, I didn't not notice anything major.
Fitment to the car was as good as stock lights. I think we must assume now that they in fact do not fit the COUPE.
Turned on, they look great. I get a nice clear beam that I did not expect. Of course I've not really had experience w/ projectors before. I know the picture of the lights ON isn't good but my camera SUCKS.
I'll have to see how they hold up over time but for now NOT BAD FOR 400 BUX!

I just want to get an update on the lights. How are they now that it has been a couple of months since you bought them.
I am not that tech. inclined, so how much do you think a dealer would charge to install the lights?

There is NO leveling motor come with the lights, but there is a vacum device that can up and down the headlights. you need to conect the device to a vacum sorce. Just ignore this device and use manual adj the headlights. you can add aftermarket HID system to these headlights but need to go to Mercedes to have the Xenon setting=present. Not all the dealer will do it for you tho( for safe or warranty reason)

Only the Bi-xenon OEM headlight needs to have the Xenon set to present so the computer knows it needs to change the volt routed to the unit.

4 wheeled car.
ok i havent read the entire thread, but speaking from experience w/ my DEPO lights for my W210, the projectors that come standard are worthless if you're gonna go with and HID KIT. I couldnt see crap. The pattern was outta whack. I replaced the projector with a bixenon projector from W211. so I obtained bixenon capability and I got a proper pattern. I got a 2nd set of W211 bix headlights sitting here, but I'm gonna put them in the W211 instead of gutting them for the W203....
