hell... the reason i drive a benz is b/c i like the styling... they have great service... lots of buttons and options lol... and where i live chicks love a mercedes... i think those are reasonable reasons to drive a benz

On a 2 door it is almost acceptable. But on 4 door sedan it is ridiculous expecially when the backseat passengers have the switches on the door. Looks kind of dumb.

As for the SLK and CLK they are 2 doors so it is not as objectionable. The 2003 E-class is on the door.

Just one last note...
The BMW 3 series sedan is a narrower platform than the C Class sedan. The rear seat is cramped, the roof line tapers more at the sides and there's less interior head room. I sat in a colleague's 330ci this morning, and noticed the foot well is slightly less than my coupe, even though she's missing a pedal. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine automobile, but tomorrow morning...I still drive a Mercedes Benz.
