I saw some Lorinser RS-1's at a pawn shop for like $200 that were gold-plated-looking. However, it was wearing off and looked like sheit :P

thanks for all the replies guys. looks like there's still a lot of mixed emotions between gold and high polish.
this is the way i look at it. the car already has a chrome trim around the molding and front and rear bumpers. also there is the chrome grille. all these chrome accents is what makes me think twice about gold wheels.
on the other hand the gold wheels have a polished lip which can also compliment the chrome accents around the car. maybe change the grill to have less chrome and take off the rear emblems except for the star.
this is the way i look at it. the car already has a chrome trim around the molding and front and rear bumpers. also there is the chrome grille. all these chrome accents is what makes me think twice about gold wheels.
on the other hand the gold wheels have a polished lip which can also compliment the chrome accents around the car. maybe change the grill to have less chrome and take off the rear emblems except for the star.
