Windshield crack

This morning while driving to work, one of the cars in front of me kicked up a rock and gave me a little crack in my windshield.. its really not that big..maybe a few centimeters but it IS noticeable.

Has anyone used that windshield fixer that you can pick up from Kragen or Walmart? It's a type of liquid that you pour into the crack ..or something like that.. Thanks..

08 Silver Lexus IS250 (manual),73 air cooled super beetle-- black 2004 230 ss is gone
Same thing happened to me when my car was less than 2 mos old. Didnt want to replace windsheild in a brand new car. Had a company called Safelite repair crack for $65. It held up for a year until the crack finally spread. They deducted the repair charge from new windshield. So, I didnt use the stuff you referred to,but basically did what you want to. They did drill small hole in windshield to inject filler into.If you dont do something pretty quick, the crack will spread and your only alternative will be repalcement. They say if crack is smaller than a dollar bill, they can repair it.Dont know if Safelite is on west coast, but I'm sure there's a bunch of companies like them out there. Good luck
