gunmetal grey C7 rims?
lots of brake dust on my wheels and havent had time to clean them up but I found out I love the look of the wheels in light gunmetal gray!
the rice boy in me is thinking of powdercoat the rims to light gunmetal gray - a bit darker than the monoblock II AMG rims or SLK AMG rims. I hate silver glossy finish on the C7 and I vomit on chrome rims
what do u think?

That doesn't sound ricey to me. Real magnesuim wheels are dark gray. I think you would have something unique without being garish. Just don't tell us if you install those led windshield washer nozzles.

I just washed my car today and I was thinking the same thing.
The MB brakes are so excellent, progressive without fading at high speed and use.
Why not just make the wheels match the brake dust color.
I got no problem with that.
Gunmetal, magnesium, whatever, as long as it is natural.
Good idea

MBWorld Fanatic!
Actually, one of Volvo models, 850 T5-R (if memory serves me right) had stock "brake dust" colored rims, and they looked great.
It may not look good with Orion Blue, though
