Do a "build your own" on the MB website and you'll be able to see a picture of the shelf. If I remember correctly, basically its a tub that sits in the hatch that has ridges to divide it into sections. Myself, I bought a weather tech cargo liner from MacNeil Auto.

Mark, methinks you are a little confused. The piece that has the pic is the "trunk tray with dividers" for $158.

I'm probably going to get what you have - the thin plastic piece on the floor of my hatch is already cracked (will be replaced under warranty), and I don't think that that piece should be left unprotected.

Weird that there isn't a pic of what Young wants. Strange little omission on their website.

But don't forget the free car washes and cookies!

If you are talking about the Slide-Out Trunk Drawer, I have it. It was a B!t@h to put on. I can see why the dealer charges $250 to install. It should be easier on the coupe since it is a hatchback and there aren't any speakers mounted in that location like in the sedan. I keep tire guage and rear seat cover in it. I like it!

mbusa replied w/ the part number (B6647-0251) and a pic... now to try to make sense of it. it looks like it should be dropped in some where... and velcro straps in the front???

here's the sliding tray for the sedan. it doesn't look very similar and the bottom looks more finished so that it's meant to be seen.

My guess is that the Coupe version probably attaches somehow to the cargo cover in the wayback. I'd imagine maybe with screws or something. The velcro things might be straps used to attach an umbrella or something cylindrical to the tray.

the coupe one looks like it's 1/4 of the size of the sedan tray.

That's the best picture MB could provide!? Sheesh...

It looks paper thin. Like it's more of a bin "liner" than anything else. I bet they had no idea what you were asking them for so they sent you this.

If it goes across the cargo area and hangs from the plastic quarter panel things then it's more of a nuisance when you need to fold the seats down.

well, i've given up. it looks like it should be "inserted" into the rear cover but that means i have to cut out an opening???

so it is a dead accessory for me.

You could always pay the dealer more for the install than you paid for the accessory!!! That's what i had to do. $215 for the part and $250 for the labor.
