Do these trip the 'Light Defective' message?
I am thinking about putting in HID fogs, but I want to make sure that it won't trip the computer. Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have pictures.
Again, I might have gotten the wrong bulbs with my CarLab HID 9006 kit. The box said 6600K, but they were so obnoxiously purple I think they sent me 8000k or 10000k. The bulb output quality was very poor. If I were going to do it again, I wouldn't buy the CarLab kit. I would just buy a 9006 kit that came with Ultinon bulbs. It would have been cheaper and I would have gotten smaller and easier to hide ballasts.
You really need to get the identical bulb in both your headlights and fog lights if you want them to match. I think the Philips Ultinon 6000K bulbs are the best bulbs. I already had them in my headlights, so I put them in my fogs, and they now match pretty well. They don't look identical since my clear fogs lens is obviously different than my BiX projector.
The higher K bulbs will look brighter in pictures than your current 4300k. I think you got the CORRECT bulb, because 4300K is white/yellow.
I've read a lot of people saying how much switching to HID fogs improved lighting. I don't think so. I can barely even tell that my fogs are on. In fog, they will perform worse than the stock bulbs. I actually never turn them on. They are purely cosmetic. They look beautiful when I unlock my car at night, and they light up.

not lower K = brighter, the brightest is 4300k, everything above or below will decrease light output.
u'd be satisfy with HID fog, and the difference is huge compare to ur lightbulbs. Mine is 8000k and im satisfy.

The Piaa ion yellows took about less than a week for them to arrive to my door step.
I just put on the Luminics JDM Yellow. and oh man, they are not as good as the piaa ones, but I have to admit, they do seem to have a wider beam.
I'm still waiting for the Titanium white Lumnics to arrive. Gonna slap those on, and if they're bad. then hid fogs it is.

how do you adjust the foglights?

If you're talking about headlights, yes, the BiXenons are a huge upgrade in light output vs the halogens.
If you're talking about fogs, no. They don't really do anything other than look cool. I can see that I light up a couple inches of road that are close to my car with the fogs on, but that doesn't help me at all. Maybe they are more noticeable with poor headlights.

What?! What the heck is a halogen HID? How did you convert your foglights to bixenon? Are you talking about fogs or headlights?

Luminics...
Hey guys, since were at the fog lights topic.
if anyone is wondering how the "so good" Luminics Bulbs are...they are crappy lol.
I bought the JDM yellow, and their Titanium White 9006 to replace my PIAA Ion Yellow. The Luminics are not as bright, and the colors look crappy! I'm gonna go ahead and order PIAA's Ion Titanium White. and if that looks crappy. HIDS it is.
