Damn My Car!!!

My car was brought in to service on 7/9 for various problems:

Tranny problems
Suspension squeaking
Steering pulls to the right
Bulbs constantly burning out...

Those are the major issues. I won't even mention the minor ones. I am on transmission #2. It was replaced 4 months ago. So, it looks like I'll be on tranny #3. And hopefully it'll go to #4 so I can sue MB under lemon law and get my freaking money back.

BTW, I have a 2001 C320 manufactured in 10/00.

I know how you feel, I never had a good MB and this is my 4th. But I do enjoy the loaners, I'm on my 12th in 11 months, not too shabby. I don't know where people get the idea that because they spend a lot of dough on a car that it's going to be reliable. IMHO MB did not deserve the 10th place it got in the JD Powers dependability survey, it's just not that reliable. But I do love the car. What I find with MBs is once you hit about 50,000 miles the problems dimish greatly and they turn out to be nice cars. I even drove one home at night with a paper clip holding the throttle linkage together. It was in 12 times because the throttle linkage kept falling off, mostly the cruise control but once the actual throttle. The lemon law took that one back but the replacement car needed a horn and transmission after 1 week and that was in 1984 before loaners.

I'm pretty sure I have to wait till the 3rd time around. I hope they take it back. I would sure love an option to get out of my lease and move up to an SLK32.
