Good luck MJ! Sorry if this was kinda late for you drex, just replaced the batteries :\.
I say again though, depending on where and how you want to mount these things, drilling MAY BE required through the bracket (at least I did anyway).

I'm checking out this website: https://www.mattman-enterprises.com/...em&item_id=550
for a euro-plate. I'm stumped as to what I'd like it to say though haha. So many options. There's another site that sells them for 30+ dollars! :\

flip, no problem. I had a family party to go to last night, so I got it done, but definitely needs to be re-done. I mounted the brackets (same ones you bought) horizontal, so the license plate is sitting too low right now.
I tried mounting the brackets diagonal, but it wasn't sitting right. Then I noticed you said that some drilling may be required. I was thinking that because when I was trying to match up the bracket holes, they didn't quite do that exactly (so the plate is also a little off center).
I'm gonna re-do this later today and see what I can come up with. I might even try to see if there are L brackets that'll match/work.

It's such a cheap fix that if anyone gives up now, willpower is nonexistent haha.

But I'll borrow my cuzn's camera again to do it.
I'm feeling lazy, so I don't know if I'm gonna do it until next week sometime. Best thing is, it's on and I don't think it'll go anywhere the way I currently have it mounted.

(p.s. again, not real plate, haha you kidders.)
Man, I gotta put some time aside this weekend to re-do the plate. Right now, it's sitting too low and is a little loose. I know it can be done a lot cleaner than I've done (as evidence in your pic).
I think that'll be my number 1 priority this weekend. I've been kinda distracted this week.

Oh, just another thing about this. When I stuck on the euro plate, the size of the screw coming out at you from the back of the bracket I had to change. Make sure to get 10x32x1" zincs and then same size nuts. It'll help with the extra width of the set. Btw.. when you do get the euro plate, the US plate won't ever want to swivel down anymore because the screws actually "rest" on top of the euro frame (if that makes any sense).
