Alignment Recommendations?

My 2001 C240 has only 22k on the tires. Biut the outside edge of both front wheels are totally worn. I rotated the wheel every 5K and all 4 wheels are worn on the outside. I need an alignment.

Could someone recommend a place that can do mercedes alignment besides the dealership. I live in the Bay Area. thanks

Auto Innovations, Milpitas CA. 408-956-8004.

Go there, ask for Orlando. Tell him Jose referred you to that excellent place (he aligned me with the camber arms on the "blue" merc - tell him that!). You have to watch how he works it's unbelievable . You'll like the Hunter alignment machine I gaurantee it.

He's done 4 mercs, all C-classes, but then again, all with rear adjustable camber arms.

flip

I hope you have camber arms and bolts. Makes his job tons easier and with better adjustability to return to spec (if you've lowered the car).

Sounds like you are an agressive driver....it's unlikely (but but possible) that all 4 corners need alignment. What's your driving environment?

What I meant was the front set does most of the wear. As I rotate the tires from back to front, the "new" front tires gets worn. Thus after 4 rotations (rotate every 5K miles), all 4 tires are all worn on the outside edge. I know it's the front wheel that's very much mis-align and caused excessive wear on the tires. My wife drives the car mostly so I know the car is not driven agressively at all.

Thanks mig888 for the recommendation. Anyone else had good alignment experience in the Bay Area?

Pay attention to your tire pressure as well. I'm considering raising mine to 40+ PSI all around to maximize center tire wear. Go to autoinnovations!
