CD changer installation prices
Hey All,
A friend of mine just got a 02 C240 w/o the changer and he wants to buy it from autoclass and have the dealer install it. the dealer was 850 for it. I told him that he can get teh changer cheap and have the dealer do it...
has anyone done it? and how much?

I had the dealer in Tucson install the cd changer for about $140. That included one of the pieces ( I believe cable) that did not come with the cd changer/install kit. I think it was about $120 for install and $20 for the cable.

i donno if there should be a tip.....
BTW, im getting Changer from Autoclass.net .......he said UPS guy will be at my office 4pm..........im excited~~~ yay~!

do it yourself...
i bought the changer and mounting kit from gaston at autoclass and installed it myself in my 2002 c230. it took less than 2 hours to install it and it works perfectly. i took pictures of each step and created a how-to. it's in acrobat (.pdf) format. it's too big to attach on here but i can email it to you. let me know.
