If they're the same as the coupe, then they're 9006. (I replaced mine with PIAAs)

Yup, 55 watts. I tried to see if I could change mine but it's too difficult to get in there. There is too much extra stuff in the engine compartment than specified in the C-Class lighting faq. You shouldn't have any problem tho.

The method described in the lighting FAQ is if you want to remove and replace the least number of screws from your car.

I tried thier method, but it was too difficult, so I actually had to remove most of the underbody panels before I could reach it comfortably enough.

If you jack up one of the front tire to the point the rubber leaves the ground, you notice that towards the front of the inside tire well there are 3 screws. Remove those, and then search under your car for where the underbody panel continues and attaches to the frame. After you unscrew those, that opens up a very wide gap in which you can easily reach the back of the fog lamps. Remember, the screws in the wheel well and the underside can only be reached when the jack is used, so make sure your car is on level ground and you feel comfortable going under the car before attempting this!

EDIT: This is on the coupe, mind you. But assuming W203s are built similarly, you might want to check if you can do the same to your car.

Yeah I should name it the Coupe lighting FAQ. I'm not sure how the sedans are under the hood. Last time I changed the bulbs it took me all of 20 minutes to do it.

Be sure to use a jack stand before getting under the car.
