here is a comparison of the new side mesh and old side mesh. i still need some black trim painted on the centre mesh, the ends with those silver flat edges.

Good to see the car back together again, and I honestly have to say the new mesh is FAR superior to the old one. THis one looks very sporty and more distinct.. its somewhat ferrari-ish which I don't know if its sacrelidge to say, but its damn sweet either way you cut it.

i wish it were done. yesterday the body shop realized that MB sent two driver headlights. the slip shows the two different p/n but there are two driver headlights. eitherway Hoehn MB reordered the passenger side and will be driving to the body shop in the morning. the car is supposed to be ready tomorrow evening. i went there today and the centre strip was still on the car. i am having them remove it to paint flat back on those silver flat pices. i didnt realize they were there, and assumed it was like the old in the respect so had them paint it all silver. anyhow i wasnt happy with the way it turned out so i am having them repaint it since im waiting on the headlight. im hoping tomorrow. i cant wait to post pics. also i will be posting pics of the evolution silver grill and the body matched citron grill for opinions of which i should keep on. i will change them out from time to time when i get bored.

At least HOEHN MB is gonna be driving the parts to the shop this morning. Can't wait to see the final product.
