A moment of inattention can mean many months of sorrow!
So I was cruisng up Garnet showing an out of town guest the sights, when I became distracted by something on the side of the road (A Bentley, off all things, it wasn't even a super nice one!)
Anyhow I looked forward and there was a Volvo stopped at a light, slammed on my 4 piston, 13.6" AMG Brakes (didnt work as planned), slammed right into the back of her, Parktronic didnt quite well either.
Here are the pics, she's at MBSD Body shop right now. I'm trying swing a 2005 front end. We'll see?![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

initial timing looks like 6 weeks. buckled both fender, the hood, broke both headlights, pushed the power steering cooler back in the radiator, busted top brace, not sure what all is damaged underneath. ill find out more once they tear up this week.

Really. The headlights look fine. What broke, the mounts? See if they will give them to you, if nothing else the ballasts and bulbs are worth money, or you could keep them in case you ever need replacment...the HID bulbs aren't cheap.
That sucks. I think I would have lied and said it was some really fine booty I was gawking at...not a car.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Good luck. I hate seeing a coupe in distress.

they said i can have all the parts if i ask. the driver light has a broken mount! top mount. ill take pics of it tomorrow. the PTS sensors seem to all be working though.
i have faith in a mercedes certified collision centre. my last accident the body panels didnt match right.
all seat belts have to be replaced because of the pins or whatever that go off in an accident. the airbags did not go off, thank god.
im glad im not hurt, and i feel safe in a mercedes for sure.

Well, sounds like you're OK, so thats the most important thing.
Aside from that - it's sad to see a coupe crashed up - especially a citron! Good luck with the repairs, and hopefully it all works out (ie, no one with extended injuries). Rear-ends are usually prone to long-term effects unfortunately (for the person, not the car).

Wow so sorry to hear. Glad you made it out ok. I almost did the same thing ...was looking at the Acura dealership with a white NSX in the showroom and a Sienna mini-van in front of me was at a stoplight.
