A moment of inattention can mean many months of sorrow!
Any damage to the other vehicle (Volvo)? Was the other driver pissed or injured?
Sorry to hear about that... Thats pretty harsh. These pics show much more damage than the ones on the camera phone.
You do have to say, at the end of the day... the car held up pretty well and at least it can be repaired. Hope your deductible is not too high.
Also, I see no reason why you can not persuade a 05 bumper rather than the older. If not, ask to pay the difference... Its probably about the same price, just a difference of what numbers they plug into the order form.
Also, you should be able to get a loaner car. MBSD had my coupe for 5 weeks, i had a loaner the entire time...
Keep us informed on your situation...
P.S. if your Bi-X's are "re-usable" let me know, I'm definatly interested!
Oh man, I'm sorry to see that, bro.
but definitely glad you're alright.Hopefully, she'll be up and running soon.

drex
but next time Pay Attention!!!
That is my worst fear while driving as I ha a whiplash injury as a result of this... no fun.
This woman although in a Volvo may have those injuries and you may be liable.
p.s. nice pic of you btw

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
i talk to steve and he has an entire 05 front end that i can buy, but the body shop doesnt seem to want to go along. i wish they would. steve said the 05 strips with PTS holes will fit my sensors fine. man i wish i could pull some mods out of this deal.l

They will do it. Any body shop will, its just a matter or "wants" and lazyness that prevents them.

I smell a Brav/Perz Benz p shop coming-OGGLE where are you??? lol
Sorry to hear about the accident Citron
At least you didn't hit the Bentley-they would have taken your house to pay for the repairs on that sucker
) and i looked in my top mirror, saw a red car coming and it wasnt stoppingg!!!! i was like "oooo nooo dont tell meeee"
and he "bumped" into me a sec later loll..errrrr B*stard!!!

i was rearended on monday on the way to work, but nothing to citrons extent. My accident was dual fault. I was purposly hit, by a road raged mid life crisis ego blown guy in a old *** mini-van. Forutnaly it was a scratch, that well, i can only see.
I understand your point of view on this subject; however, I am unable to do any modifications. As a Mercedes-Benz dealer we have agreed to restore the cars to there factory condition. I am sorry, but I am not able to accommodate your request. Please know that if there is anything else I can do to help.
I responded I hope I can still keep my PArktronic! He says he can order the Euro Impact Strips with the holes. I dont know!

Though some good news, I am getting both BiX to keep!

or keep it so they can do the certified work?
So you have an 03 car? If there's not much left on your warranty, and you would really like to get that 05 bumper, I would go to another body shop. I just don't believe in "certified," simply because getting a certification doesn't seem to mean so much anymore. I've yet to hear of a body shop losing its certification for a bad job; if it meant so much, they'd put effort into pleasing you.
Also, as someone mentioned, other body shops will probably be better about it in terms of claims amounts, whereas this body shop seems to be so tight-laced about things that they won't even entertain the thought of helping you out with your insurance. My only real point of concern of going with another body shop (besides the time and effort asking around to find a good, affordable one in your area) is that, while they will do their best with color matching, this body shop is likely to have direct access to your color paint. And I know how you like your Citron Green. If they just try color matching though, just dump them. There's no advantage otherwise (besides the "certified"
work).
