Scraped bumper

In my haste to get out of the garage last night I scraped the lower rear passenger corner of the plastic bumber cover against some bricks. Realitively minor but looks bad. There are some spots where the paint has been taken off. Is there anyway to repair this without replacing the bumber cover?

Anyone know a good shop in Beverly Hills area that will not cost an arm and a leg or can I fix it myself.

The car is a 2002 C240, black. HELP.

Use water and a piece of super fine sand paper. Sand it down smooth. Touch it up with MB touch up paint. Let it dry, smooth it down with water and the sandpaper again. Wait a few hours and polish it. Wait a bit longer and wax it. Voila! Scratch gone!

Some of the paintless dent removable shops now do airbrushing and can do small jobs like repaint the bumper and they are mucho cheaper than a body shop. If you want to go really cheap or this may be a regular habit get a good black magic marker from an art supply store and have at it. Some of the ones you get at an office supply store have a purplish tinge to them. You are probably laughing now but I used to do polyester repair on high gloss pianos and I started at $125 minimum for a very small chip. If they complained I took out my black marker and dab it in the chip and said no charge. To many that was good enough. My neighbor has a classic 50's period black hot rod, he was going to get it repainted until I showed him the marker trick.
