Also picked up the final piece of the puzzle today from MbenzNL. $1433 for a new ECU, ouch.....
It's still a few hundred dollars cheaper than the dealer, thanks to Steve.
BTW, that white powdery stuff you see on the engine in the pictures is from salt debris. Engine was on a boat for a month. Going to give the engine a good bath.
And........the swap is finally happening next week

Did you only swaped the engine and a new ECU or also transmission???
Good to see these mods, if only I lived in the States, certainly I would have more upgrade parts available
Good luck with your project

Dynoed my car today at HOP
The best of three runs on the dynojet yielded 191 hp on my car with C320 motor. I forget the torque number. Not very good results in general with the current setup. AFR was about 13 I think, which is normal for a naturally aspirated car.

My finished motor
Josh finished putting together the motor. It's beautiful, haha. It took A LOT of work. Not an easy job at all for you DIY guys, but Josh was more than capable of doing it. I helped polish the AMG emblems on the top of the surge tanks. I gotta finish polishing the carbon fiber intake boxes tomorrow...

Keep it coming
Pshek,
Keep posting updates. This is getting more and more exciting.
Josh was telling me a bit about your engine work. This car is going to be a sophisticated monster. I can't wait until we start getting some kill stories from you.

Motor is in. Not quite done yet though. It looks really nice in person; I had to take a picture with my crappy camera. It's a RHD motor, and I need to get a RHD starter. Why did MBZ make a RHD and LHD starter????
