pshek's BRABUS C32 Coupe
I took a picture of my car at dusk yesterday...hope y'all like it. I'm pretty much done with modding this car, but an occasional mod in the future may occur.

Rims and front BBK. Rear brakes are stock. The thing I like about these Alcon brakes are the fact that the vanes are not unidirectional, ie the drill pattern is different L/R. And the pads don't squeak at all, completely silent compared to the Porterfields. Extra stopping power w/less fade is also a big plus. Multipiece alu/steel rotors are lighter than the cast steel C32 rotors.

L/R drill pattern, non-squeaky pads, lighter casting.... what's not to like !?!?
Sounds much much better than my current C32 AMG (Brembo) brakes.
are rear Alcon brakes in the future mods list ?

Brabus Alcon brakes only comes in two packages the front brakes pacakge or the complete front+rear package. They don't sell the rear alone. This if you want to have the Brabus on the caliper.

I'd thought about doing something like that, but I need to have matching rotors (multipiece black anodized aluminum hat + cast rotor). FrankW, do you know anyone at Brembo in Costa Mesa who can custom fab rotors similar to my Alcon 14.1" rotors? The rear caliper would just need to be 4 pot, painted silver without any emblem. Also, do you know where Alcon gets their brake pads from? These pads are great, so I'd rather replace them with the OEM alcon pads rather than custom Porterfields. Just thinking about future replacement pad issues...

Thanks for the compliments. I modified my stock pre-05 grill. Cut out the star in the middle of the ABS plastic grill, filled in the "gaps" with cold cure resin, sanded it smooth, then had it painted by a local bodyshop. Excluding time spent working on it, material cost was less than $40.

Wow that sounds like a pretty simple do it yourself mod, I love the clean sporty look of the black grill. A nice change from the usual MB star grills. I'm definitely jelous.
Are you going to the Irvine MB meet coming up soon? I think it's pretty close to you, it would be nice to have a few more coupes
